This course is designed to facilitate students to apply the theory of human eresponse to illness in providing advanced nursing care for patients and their family. It focuses on the preparation of students for advances paractice roles in care of adult people with acute and chronic illness in a variety of care settings to reduce patients' and family's suffering and to enhance their well-being. The concept of patient safety and oucome management will be emphasized to help students provide quality and cost-benefit nursing care.
